Learn about our services
During an auto accident, the body goes through various stages of healing. We offer a variety of different services that optimize your recovery during the Inflammation, Proliferation, and Remodeling stages of injury so we can guide you from day one to full recovery. And don’t worry-you don’t have to drive anywhere! We can bring these services straight to your door!
-
During the inflammatory and proliferation stages of recovery, enzyme treatments are applied to decrease swelling.
-
During the inflammation stage, your lymphatic system can get overloaded. Lymphatic drainage massage helps your body move and process toxins to aid in quicker recovery.
-
A treatment that predates acupuncture, Jin Shin Jyutsu techniques may be used to reduce overall inflammation. It works in a similar way to acupuncture, but without the needles.
-
During your treatment, ice or heat applications may be used depending on your injury stage in order to aid in injury recovery.
-
Cupping is used to decompress the tissue in an area. This can decrease swelling and loosen fascia.
-
Another form of decompression therapy, kinesiotape creates room for lymph to flow and supports muscle stability.
-
Reserved for later stages of healing, deep tissue focuses on alleviating pain and hypertonicity to the deeper layers of connective tissues.
-
In Swedish massage, gentle to moderate pressure is applied in rhythmic techniques to alleviate pain and decrease tension.
-
Neuromuscular reeducation is used to address weakness and restore normal movement patterns to an affected area.
Once you have your prescription and your claim open, the only thing that is needed for at-home treatments is room for a massage table and enough space to walk around it. If your pets are friendly, they are welcome to be around during treatment. The space we work in doesn’t have to be perfect. We understand that chores can be extremely difficult during this time and that clothes and dishes might be piled up. No one is here to judge you!
Depending on the treatment, you may need to undress to some degree. We’ll step into your bathroom and scrub down during this time to allow you some privacy. If you have a robe, you might want it around for ease of dress.

Your practitioner
Noelle Heian has been a licensed massage therapist in Washington state for over 20 years. She began working exclusively with auto injuries after sustaining a whiplash injury and had a difficult time finding experienced practitioners to guide her through the recovery process. She enjoys adapting to the unique challenges that auto injuries bring during each phase of healing. She understands that being injured can be stressful and is ready to provide a listening ear and hold space for you.
